Sarang, Heartbeat of Seoul

Heard how one's feeling is shown through their cooking?

Sarang is the Korean word for love. And if the chefs were showing their love for food, they were still working towards that target with gradual improvement.

I'm feeling the love in this. Fishballs as an appetiser. Remember those days when we were young can clamouring for fishballs? The plain kinds not the fancy ones with curry or cheese or whatever filling is out there these days.

Drunken pork

No, the pork was not fed with wine or any alcholic drinks prior to the slaughter-house. Although I wish they had. I was expecting flavouful mouthfuls of alcholic marinade but it didn't quite meet the mark.

Tteokboki

Side dishes had limited refills up to 5 times

Army Stew

This is an item with definate L-O-V-E in it. It's a fine stew for those rainy days and had ingredients you can find around the house. No-brainer but don't you find no-brainer foods are the best ones... when you just want to curl up with a blanket on a couch and slurp?
This restaurant has a inner and outer portion where diners may choose to sit. It gets really windy outside, so girls, try to weigh your skirt down. We don't want a Marilyn Monroe now do we. Staff are attentive and sometimes, you may actually catch sight of a cute chef or two ;)
